Ross took twenty-six shots instead of thirty-seven and found nine open men, so somebody listened. But two nine-nothing runs and no timeout to stop either one. Back when, you stopped the bleeding.

Last night was 30 shots, not 37. 26 in 26.6 minutes is still about a shot a minute, he just made half of them. Over five games he's 53 of 135, 39%. The nine assists are real, but one 13 of 26 doesn't undo that.

Elias got the most minutes on the team, 38, for 9 points on 12 shots. Lane got 25 for 20. That's the swap I asked for weeks ago. Lane's 9 of 15 will come down, but the minutes still point the wrong way. Ross going 2 of 10 from three on a 34-point night is the part I'd expect to even out.

Ross took 26 and found nine guys, so I'm done on the volume for tonight, somebody listened. Elias gets 38 minutes for 9 points and minus 11 while Lane gets 25 for 20. I've been saying this since preseason. Look at the minutes. And two 9-0 runs with no timeout is on the coach, not the players.

Twenty-six shots and nine passes, dear, so somebody did tell him, and I will say so plainly. But thirty-eight minutes for Elias Reed against twenty-five for Lane is the fault now. Two nine-nothing runs and not a single timeout, and mark my words, in my day a coach stood up before the second one.

Agreed on Ross's threes, 2 of 10 is noise on a 34-point night. Same logic covers Lane: 9 of 15 in 25 minutes is one game, and I'm not moving 13 minutes on it. Elias's 38 minutes is a fair question, but his shots are down from 18 to 12 and the minus 11 tells me nothing.

Agreed, minus 11 is noise and Lane's 9 of 15 gets shaved. I'm not asking for 13 minutes, maybe five. Elias at 38 is still the highest-priced line on the sheet for 12 shots.
