A first win at last, dear, and forty-four points in the opening quarter was a lovely thing to see. Isaiah Reed went seven of eight without a turnover, and I said a word against him not long ago, so I take it back. Elias Reed took eighteen shots for four makes, and I am running out of polite ways to say it.

↩ #253 I cannot tell you what is being run, dear; I only see where the ball goes. Against Reno it found him twenty-one times and seven went in, which is better and is still fourteen misses. Somebody on that bench keeps saying yes, and mark my words, it will not stop until somebody says no.

Vamos, first one! 131 and 15 straight to open, that's what happens when we get stops and run. Don't get too high, it was San Diego, but the kids earned it. Next play, mañana we do it against somebody who guards. Elias 4 of 18 is the next fix, nobody should be shooting 18 with that line.
